European premier of three plays written & directed by Renowned theatre personality Manjul Bhardwaj

1.  "Drop by Drop: Water”

Play "Drop by Drop: Water " was performed 26 times in Kinder Kultur Karawane-2013 in Europe (Germany, Slovenia & Austria).

The play Drop by Drop: Water protests against privatization of water not only in India but across the globe. It brings all the governments face to face with the public opinion that "water is our natural & birth right". It also forces the governments to withdraw their policy of privatization of water by challenging multinational companies through public campaign & protest.

While emphasizing on conservation, reservation and perseverance of water, the play depicts the cultural dimension of water to the audience by showing how water nurtures the human culture & values. The play Drop by Drop: Water is the journey of origin, celebration and destruction of water. Our country has recently witnessed the cruel & destructive face of water through a calamity in Uttarakhand. This calamity is a warning for us that nature will not tolerate interference greedy & profit oriented human behavior in natural processes.

 In this 65 days European Tour in Kinder Kultur Karawane -2013 the group traveled 10,000 kilometers in Europe, performed “Drop by drop: Water”, 26 times and conducted  29 Theatre of Relevance workshops, in which approximately  5000 European audience & participants viewed performances and participated in TOR workshops in Kinder Kultur Karawane- 2013 .  नाटक “ड्राप बाय ड्राप : वाटर” पानी के निजीकरण का भारत में ही नहीं दुनिया के किसी भी हिस्से में विरोध करता है और सभी सरकारों को जनमानस की  इस भावना कि “पानी हमारा नैसर्गिक और जन्म सिद्द अधिकार है” से रूबरू कराता है और जन आन्दोलन के माध्यम से बहुरास्ट्रीय कम्पनियों को खदेड़कर सरकार को पानी की  निजीकरण नीति वापस लेने पर मजबूर करता है।

नाटक जल बचाव , सुरक्षा और जल सवंर्धन पर जोर देते हुए कैसे संस्कृति और  मानव जीवन के मूल्यों को पानी सहेजता है, पानी के इस साँस्कृतिक पहलु से दर्शकों को अवगत कराता है । नाटक “ड्राप बाय ड्राप : वाटर” पानी की उत्पत्ति , उत्सव और विध्वंस की यात्रा है । पानी का विकराल और विध्व्न्सात्मक रुप अभी अभी देश ने उतराखंड में एक त्रसादी के रूप में झेला है जो हमें हर पल चेताता है की प्रकृति और प्राकृतिक प्रक्रिया में लालची और मुनाफाखोर मनुष्य के स्वभाव को प्रकृति बर्दाश्त नहीं करेगी !

 2. VISHWA – THE WORLD:

The play “Vishwa – The World" unfolds & explores the dreams, desires & aspirations of youth.  Who fights against all odds of life and comes out as Survivors. The play is performed 25 times at various cities in Germany

In the play youth questions their dreams and wonder – Will any one of them be able to actualize their dream. The dream of being – KABIR, ABRAHIM LINCOLN, SAVITRIBAI PHULE, JYOTIBA PHULE, MAHATAMA GANDHI, ALBERT EINSTEIN, WANGARI MAATHAI & AUNG SANG SYUKI?

3. B –7

The play B-7 depicts the story of 7 birds that are facing a threat for their survival. The birds decide to form a fact-finding committee to list out the threats to their survival. This way they enter in the human world and expose the reality of today’s world. How the children are being deprived from their childhood and how the globalization “Who are you to decide about us” is affecting the children in the world. In the end the birds committee suggest the world to save childhood and humanity. This was premiered in Germany. It is being performed in English, Hindi & German in 2000 & 2003.
